“Warwick Crime Stoppers” is a private non-profit organization that offers rewards for information leading to the arrest or indictment of individuals responsible for unsolved crimes. The “Warwick Crime Stoppers” organization is made up of regular citizens living in the community who partner with the police in solving crime. Also, important to the program is the media that help publicize the rewards along with some facts and circumstances surrounding the unsolved crimes or wanted individuals.

The “Warwick Crime Stoppers” is a new program that continues to grow and is looking for honest law abiding members to serve on its board. Interested parties may make their intentions to serve known by writing to the above-mentioned address.

To contact the “Warwick Crime Stoppers” in order to leave a tip, please telephone 732-8477 (732-TIPS). You may leave your name and telephone number in order for someone to get back to you or you may remain anonymous by leaving your own personal password. The password should consist of a ten-digit (letter and number combination) password. Persons who wish to remain anonymous are asked to monitor the web-site where a message will be left mentioning a partial description of the password that led to the case being solved along with instructions for the Tipster to follow in order to claim the reward.

The City of Warwick CRIME STOPPERS announces a $200.00 reward is being offered for the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible for the damage to The Impossible Dream facility located on the Tollgate High School campus, on 4 August 2007. 

A building on the property had windows broken and the fish in a pond on the property had all been killed.  The property sustained further damage on or about 1 September 2007. This property is a playground utilized by disabled children.

HOME INVASION: Cold Case- On Monday, August 2nd, 2004 at approximately 9:57 P.M. a home invasion occurred on Major Potter Road in the Cowesett section of Warwick, Rhode Island. The intruders who are described as three black or dark skinned males entered the home after throwing a rock through the back glass slider door. Once inside the home the intruders bound the lone female using duct tape. During the robbery additional family members arrived home and were also assaulted and bound with duct tape. The intruders ransacked the home before leaving with a large amount of assorted jewelry. From comments made by the intruder to the victims it appears the intruders had targeted the victim’s home specifically and were looking for cash. It is believed the intruders had cased the property in the days leading up to the August 2nd, 2004 home invasion. Initial reports described a suspicious white van in the area however this van and operator was eventually identified and determined at this time not to be involved.
